Verification Process

Being treated for your addiction should not be a challenge. To begin the insurance verification process, all you have to do is contact us via phone or online. From there, we will obtain all necessary information and verify your benefits as quickly as possible. Once your benefits are confirmed, you will be contacted by a residential program advisor to review the details of your insurance and discuss how to receive treatment.

Your personal representative will review the finer details of your insurance policy, including the following details:

  • In-network or out-of-network benefits
  • Any deductible you may be responsible for paying
  • Percentage your plan will pay upon meeting the deductible
  • Any co-pay amount to pay upon checking into rehab

For those who recently purchased coverage through a state insurance exchange, based on the Affordable Care Act, acceptance of coverage is subject to approval.

Before choosing a rehabilitation center or a detox, please verify your insurance information. We’ll provide a list of centers that accept your coverage. Each one of the centers will be able to assist you with medical detoxification as well. Please fill out the form below.

Appointment Scheduling

If your insurance plan is accepted by any facility in our database and you are interested in treatment, we will schedule an initial appointment to meet in person and discuss your situation.

In the event that your insurance plan was not approved, we can explore additional options. You can still receive treatment, however, you will pay more out of pocket as an out-of-network patient.

Pre-certification

Although most insurance companies require pre-certification, we will help you with this process to ensure that it moves forward in a fast and efficient manner.

Most insurance companies require pre-certification before being admitted for drug and/or alcohol rehabilitation. Our qualified insurance representatives will attempt to complete this process on your behalf. If your insurance company requires you to contact them, we will walk you through the process of doing so.

Billing

All treatments will be billed to your insurance plan to ensure that you receive as much coverage as possible. You are responsible for any co-pay and deductible, as well as anything not covered by your insurance.

Throughout your treatment, we will do whatever it takes to assist you with any insurance or billing related matters.

How the helpline works

For those seeking addiction treatment for themselves or a loved one, the Withdrawal.org helpline is a private and convenient solution.

Calls to any general helpline (non-facility specific 1-8XX numbers) for your visit will be answered by American Addiction Centers (AAC), a paid advertiser on Withdrawal.org.

AAC representatives are standing by 24/7 to discuss your treatment options. These representatives work solely for AAC and will discuss whether an AAC facility may be an option for you. This helpline is offered at no cost to you and with no obligation to enter into treatment. Neither Withdrawal.org nor AAC receives any commission or other fee that is dependent upon which treatment provider a visitor may ultimately choose.

For more information on AAC’s commitment to ethical marketing and treatment practices, or to learn more about how to select a treatment provider, visit AmericanAddictionCenters.org. If you wish to explore additional treatment options or connect with a specific rehab center, you can browse top-rated listings or visit SAMHSA.
